Chess Week

Chess week is coming again this week. I didn’t play any chess for quite some times since last year before I went to practical training. Chess week is an event introduced by our batch last year. We promoted 9 to 10 types of different type of the chess in our university included Chinese chess, International Chess, Reversi, Go Bang, Draughts, Chinese Checkers, Shogi, and others chess. I went to university to play chess although I whole day no class. If you ask me whether I like chess so much, I maybe cannot answer it 100% that I like it so much. This answer will be same as my Chinese orchestra instrument.

During the playing session with the committee, I realized that my skill was become worst and worst compared to one year ago. It means I really long time didn’t touch the chess. I played chess to train my brain to function always. It is interesting when nothing to do, but it quite boring sometimes because we just need to sit there for an hour or more to complete the game. It can also train our patient to finish the game.

Also, I learned shogi (Japanese Chess) one year ago. However, I only managed to play it after make sure some of the rules with others. It means I totally forgot about it when I didn’t touch it for so long, but I like it.

Chess week is an event which I like the most among all the chess club events. It lets us to communicate to others chess player or other students who like chess and introduce chess to other students who have interest to learn it.
